colour is a dark brick-red with a purple tinge; the nose is fruity with
an obvious smokey American Oak aroma. The palate displays rich ripe blackcurrant/blackberry
flavours enhanced by a slight touch of pepper; these flavours will become
more complex with short term cellaring.

Ridge 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot
The colour is an attractive
cherry red and the nose displays earthy cassis aromas with some French
Oak that has integrated well with the fruit. The palate has very inviting
berry/cherry flavours, imparting weight and volume of flavours and the
finish is long, warm and soft. The fresh acidity will keep the wine
lively and vibrant.

The colour is a medium brick red that is bright and vibrant; it is a generous wine with black cherries, blackberries and rich mocha aromas. There is also an interesting smokey hint of oak on the nose and the palate is soft and rounded without any obvious oak dominance.
